![]() ![]() Industrial Age has, in my opinion, the best Heavy Unit that I have encountered up through Contemporary Era, and that is the Howitzer. Starting in Colonial all 5 units will be more in play, but sticking with those three still works. Up until Colonial Age I would advise mostly light, ranged and artillery units. Avoid fighting in Early Middle Ages at all, if you can, that whole age stinks for fighting units. They just get chewed up by pretty much anything. Before that, I would say to stay away from Heavy Units from Iron Age through Late Middle Ages. It does get fairly complicated around Progressive Era. ![]() There are a number of tutorials out there, but again, they tend to be written assuming you are earlier in the game, so using them will be a bit rougher, but they still should help you understand the basics. There ARE sectiions in the game where the battles are intentionally tougher (like the bonus areas), and in one sense you really aren't expected to just blow through these. If you are now moving through the LMA bonus area, that may not be the best area to be learning. The system isn't that complicated, and appears to be built to be learned by experiencing (you just ran through the tutorials without study). ![]() You also have the diisadvantage that you are on mobile, and the battle system is definately harder on mobile, as several browser features that use the hover feature just aren't there. This has raised the learning curve when you step in much later when things have gotten more complicated, and units heal much slower. Part of the issue is like I first mentioned, you started with auto-battling, and so didn't pick up the basics at the early levels. ![]()
